About
Welcome!
My name's Mary and I'm an undergraduate psychology major learning how to balance my academic life, social life, and chronic illness. I was diagnosed with POTS in 2016 after a grueling diagnosis journey and I felt like my life and everything I had worked so hard for was ripped away from me. Slowly, piece by piece, until there was nothing left and I needed to discover who I was without something that had defined me for so long. But in finding myself, I learned that I enjoy nothing more than helping and advocating for others. I hope that my experience can help others understand what life may look like after receiving a life-changing diagnosis, but more importantly, that you can still do great things.
